The Los Angeles Public Library has an online archive of all of the menus they have in their Rare Books Room. You can plug in any year, neighborhood, cuisine, etc. and it’ll come up with results. So cool to see how tastes and prices have changed, what kind of foods were trending and how few historical restaurants we have left in LA.
