Dave’s is a fairly new bar/restaurant in Copenhagen. I may have a bit of bias because David (the owner) is my friend’s boyfriend and i’ve been lucky enough to enjoy lots of his cooking over the past few years, but it genuinely was my favorite dinner we had on the trip. They’re very lowkey, and have cultivated an extremely warm and welcoming environment, it’s a neighborhood restaurant/bar that’s truly meant to serve the people in the neighborhood. The space is beautiful, and completely built by hand by David & the other owner. The menu is always changing depending on the season, but it is almost entirely vegetarian, which depending on your relationship to vegetables could be a good or a bad thing. Everything that’s served here is truly delicious though (I know, because I tried everything) and has a lot of thought and care behind it, it also will fill you up, regardless of its lack of meat. You can also go just for drinks, which are special & yummy as well. They’ve recently begun inviting musicians to play sets from time to time too, so if that’s your thing maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see someone play.

Table Ferments, Bay Leaf Kombucha, the flavors are always changing depending on what the owner decides to make, and it’s served at the best restaurants in CPH.
